loveheart ninja giveaway....

....hello, I know I've been a terrible, terrible, blogger of late.  Life generally seems rather fast paced and very very full at the moment.  Which is good, don't get me wrong but does mean I have very little time for blogging and the like.

However I just wanted to pop in to let you know about a little giveaway.

The lovely Carmen of whoopidooings (she made this fabulous bracelet with my ninja beads last year, remember?) got in touch to ask if I could make a loveheart ninja complete with a hole in his bottom!  Well of course I obliged and she gave him a beautiful new home and pole to spin on inside this box.

an etsy birthday...

...today (according to my shop page) my little etsy store is 4 years old!  How exciting, so much has happened in my life in those 4 years it seems strange that through all that change I have managed to remain an etsy customer, not always as a successful seller but always as a regular visitor. Just a couple of days ago I reached the big milestone of 1000 sold items in my shop, which is incredible and seems fitting that it collides so nicely with this occasion.

UK Silly Sale...

 

Yay!!! Today is a very special day indeed! For as of 7pm this evening the UK silly sale on etsy begins!!

bargains...

...a few of the wonderful bargains (and free stuff) I've bagged myself this past week or so...

...free plums, foraged from the garden of an abandoned house (I also have apples and a few blackberries from the same garden!), baked in a plum loaf...

I'm loving all this autumnal fruit!

...foraged sloes soaking in gin...

You're meant to leave the gin for 18 months before drinking, but I imagine I might just last until next summer before cracking open a bottle! Fortunately I picked just a few too many sloes so I should have a couple of bottles to stash away

...super cute and colourful, double pointed knitting needles, never been used, 10p a set...

the biggest set have already been put to work as you can see!

...a baby guitar for my baby...

he loves the full size acoustic bass we have, but I'm a little anxious about him playing with it and as soon as he spotted this in the charity shop I knew there was no way we'd be leaving without it, not without a HUGE tantrum anyway!

oh my!

...these arrived today from snowberry and lime.  I have spent many hours looking through all the beautiful yarns there longing to own some, but never actually purchasing any! But now I have some I am so so glad I do!  They are so beautiful I cannot wait to get knitting them up in to christmas gifts.
