burnt...

 

...this what happens when you leave your ninjas in the oven once they've completed baking to cool down slowly, then your mr comes along and puts the oven on full whack to heat up some left over pizza, whilst both of you remain unaware of the situation until the kitchen fills with the (possibly poisonous)strong stench of burnt polymer clay!

In all the years I've been making ninjas I have never ever burnt any before! Fortunately these were just the last few ninjas of the day that I had made, had it been a full batch of 15-20 ninjas I would almost certainly have cried!  As it was I just a bit grumpy and snappy with the mr for a little while (granted it was just as much my fault as it was his!).

I was really excited about these special christmas ninjas too, here's hoping a get a chance to make some more today.  Although the burnt edges of the holly on the christmas pud do add a bit of authenticity don't you think?!
