Whilst we were away I did a lot of knitting! I don't normally get that much time to knit as I'm usually making ninjas in the evenings and of course tending to the babe during the day, so I made the most of the time I had!
I finished off Milo's stripy sweater from Debbie Bliss' Simply Baby (you can find all the details on my ravelry page).
And I made a start on another jumper for Milo from this fab book I picked up at my favourite second hand book shop, in Cromer.
I'm making the tassel top which is all garter stitch and one lovely big piece of knitting that will just need seaming down the sides. I've nearly finished and am really really pleased with how it looks so far.
It wasn't just me who was all into knitting either...
My eldest niece has been having weekly knitting lessons during her lunchbreak at school, so she was eager to show me what she had learnt.
My youngest niece also wanted to join in, I tried to get her making pompoms, but the yarn just ended up in a horrible mess of knots!! I think she enjoyed herself though!
And of course Milo didn't want to be left out either
all your knitting looks amazing! And it's wonderful to see the little girls so engaged :D yay for crafts!
