Making Cakes...
...because I actually have about a million things I need to do...instead I did some baking (and now of course here I am telling you about the baking!). Originally I was going to make turkish delight and marshmallows...but went shopping with the list of required ingredients in my head...not a good idea. I got home to discover I was missing one vital ingredient for both reciepes. So instead I made rosewater cupcakes and little chocolate cupcakes. ...loveheart magnets... All bagged up and ready for craft fairs! I have new magnets which are like crazy strong! There have been all sort of problems getting these little ones done as a result! I can't tell you the amount of times I knocked the tray I had them all laid out to be glued and the whole lot bounced together! But with a little patience and a safe distance between them they are finally finished! They like to stick to each other in the bags too...so require a fair amount of delicate handling, but I like that they are...

sorry for my slow reply to your comment...
I use a fimo machine (a bit like a pasta machine) to roll the clay for their heads, which does help but I did used to until quite recently roll by hand and just used 2 pieces of same thickness wood and rolled the pin across them if that makes sense?! But mostly I guess it's just a lot of practice, I spend quite a bit of time after they are complete just kind of rubbing them down. I hope this helps x
