...I have started a new blog as a place to keep all my knitting and crochet and sewing projects, ideas etc...
I want to try and keep everything a little more organised (I am of course having these kinds of ideas as some sort of new year brainstorm, we'll see how well this actually works out!).
Therefore this blog here will be mainly used for my polymer clay creativity and news for my little shop. For all my stitching news please head over here.
...today (according to my shop page) my little etsy store is 4 years old! How exciting, so much has happened in my life in those 4 years it seems strange that through all that change I have managed to remain an etsy customer, not always as a successful seller but always as a regular visitor. Just a couple of days ago I reached the big milestone of 1000 sold items in my shop, which is incredible and seems fitting that it collides so nicely with this occasion.

Thank you etsy for providing me with such a lovely place to hang out at for 4 years and most of all a very big thank you for enabling me to spend my baby's, babyhood at home with him instead of out in a regular, boring 9-5!
So in honor of this occasion I have yet another special offer for you!
Use coupon code BIRTH10 in my shop for a whopping 30% off just for today.
this is super exciting for me and meant a lot of busyness last night and will mean a lot of parcel packing the next few days!
In celebration of this, I am running my sale for one more day! So hop on over and grab yourself a bargainous 25% off my usual prices, plus if you use the coupon code ML1110 you can get yourself a further 10% off that price!
You can see the full etsy finds from yesterday here.
...one of my favourite parts of what I do and of this time of year, is making special custom ninjas for people, most recently I have made a...
I'm really pleased with them both. The knitting ninjas will definitely be back and making an appearance in my shops at some point in the future, I've also had a fabulous request for a ninja wedding cake topper wielding a lightsaber this week!
...this what happens when you leave your ninjas in the oven once they've completed baking to cool down slowly, then your mr comes along and puts the oven on full whack to heat up some left over pizza, whilst both of you remain unaware of the situation until the kitchen fills with the (possibly poisonous)strong stench of burnt polymer clay!
In all the years I've been making ninjas I have never ever burnt any before! Fortunately these were just the last few ninjas of the day that I had made, had it been a full batch of 15-20 ninjas I would almost certainly have cried! As it was I just a bit grumpy and snappy with the mr for a little while (granted it was just as much my fault as it was his!).
I was really excited about these special christmas ninjas too, here's hoping a get a chance to make some more today. Although the burnt edges of the holly on the christmas pud do add a bit of authenticity don't you think?!
